![]() If it is a Retina version then it too was introduced in June 2012 and was discontinued in Feb. This is an interesting MacBook Pro because it was released in June 2012 and discontinued in Oct. I don't know how to solve the problem I've been trying to figure it out for the past 3 weeks I'd really appreciate it if you help me I also went further and downloaded other updates like the ones that said: " 10.13 Supplemental" "Combo 10.15.7" and as you might have guess it didn't work too I tried downloading 10.13 from the apple page and when i open it to install it it says: "it needs 10.3." ? (another thing is: i cannot find any uodates when i click the Apple logo, also when i open system preferences i cant seem to find "software updates" either) I tried updating from AppStore but it keeps saying "downloading" and evenually it disappears and doesn't downalod. Now i want to download an app and its really important however, i cannot because of the old update that i have I ignored the updates over the years cause i never had the time to sit and download it because i thought it will take a long time to do so. I have macbook 2015 with 10.12.6, (macOS Sierra) Updating from 10.12.6 (2015) to newest update greetings, I've refreshed the page on the App Store multiple times, restarted the computer, double check my account and shipping information, I just don't know what to do! Now after clicking the Learn More button, I'm taken to this page: macOS - How to Upgrade - AppleĪll this page tells me is why I need to upgrade to HighSierra, which brings me to the beginning again. I entered my new Apple ID and password(which has up-to-date billing and shipping information), then this box appears.Īfter clicking the Review button, another dialog box appears: After clicking the 'Free Upgrade' button, this dialog box appears. However, I can see the upgrade to HighSierra banner in the background. I know that an update is needed but when I go to the App Store, there are No Updates Available. I inherited it from someone else so clearing it seemed like the logical thing to do. It's a mid-2012 Macbook Pro, 2.5GHz processor speed(although I don't think it's important) and now running its original software, OS X 10.8.5.
